What are Smart Lists
Unlike manual lists, Smart Lists dynamically update as fan activity changes, ensuring your segments always reflect current reality. Key benefits:- Automatic segmentation — fans are categorized without manual effort
- Behavior-based — segments reflect actual fan activity
- Dynamic updates — lists refresh automatically as data changes
Funnel principle
Segments work like a sales funnel: fans automatically move between stages, and each fan is only at one stage at a time.This ensures no fan appears in multiple segments simultaneously, giving you clear, actionable data for each group.
Smart List types
| Type | Description |
|---|---|
| New Fans | Fans you have never messaged |
| Number of Messages | Grouped by reply count |
| Spending Segments | Grouped by spending amount |
| Lost Contacts | Haven’t replied in X days |
Creating a Smart List
- Click “Create”
- Select list type
- Configure parameters
- Save
Copying between creators
Smart Lists can be copied from one creator to others:- Click “Copy” button
- Select source creator
- Select target creators
- Choose which segment types to include in the copy
- Confirm replacement (if lists exist)
The system automatically adjusts filters to match the new creator’s configuration.
Editing
- Click pencil icon
- Modify segment parameters
- Save changes
Deleting
- Click trash icon
- Confirm deletion
- Deletion is irreversible
