Configure rules
The Rules tab contains built-in safety topics such as messenger redirects, external payments, ban risk, meetings, self-promotion, and model persona. You can also create custom topics for a model. For each topic you can:- use the supplied words and disable individual entries that do not fit the model;
- add the model’s own words or phrases;
- choose Block & explain, Block silently, or Log only as the saved action;
- enable contact detection for phone numbers, usernames, links, email addresses, and supported wallet formats where offered;
- add exceptions under Don’t treat as a violation.
Chat Guard matches saved words, common disguised spellings, and the contact formats shown in the topic editor. Meaning-based AI matching is not active in this version.
Check a message
Select Check a message, paste sample text, and run the check. The result shows which saved rules would block or log that text. The tester does not send the message and does not change a chat. A clean result means only that the current saved matcher did not trigger. It is not a compliance guarantee, and it does not check media, Vault metadata, posts, scripts, mass messages, or automations.Copy rules to other models
Select Copy rules… to choose a source model and one or more target models. The default action copies the complete configuration and replaces the selected parts on the targets. Expand the options if you need to choose individual topics or merge them instead. Review each target after copying. If the result is reported as unknown, check the target models before retrying because the first copy may already have completed.Violations and deletions
Users with journal access can open the Violations and Deletions tabs for the selected model. These views may contain available recorded events and let you filter or inspect their details. The Rules configuration itself does not create new violation entries in this version, and a deletion record may not contain the original message text.Access
Chat Guard uses two separate role permissions under Chat Protection:- Configure protection — open and change Rules for models in the allowed scope;
- View logs — open Violations and Deletions for models in the allowed scope.
