Chat Summary creates an AI recap of the conversation currently open in the selected model’s workspace. It does not combine chats from other models; use AI Recon for eligible cross-creator analysis.

Generate a summary

  1. Open the fan’s chat under the correct model.
  2. In the right panel, open the Insights tab and expand Chat Summary.
  3. Click Make summary.
The latest saved summary for that model and fan is restored when an authorized teammate opens the chat again.
Summary settings are personal to each AgencyKey user. The generated result belongs to the current model/fan conversation and can be restored to authorized users in the same AgencyKey workspace.

Settings

Open the gear in the Chat Summary section. Changes are saved when you close the settings. Fan notes are included as additional context. A higher message count gives the AI more history, but it does not include conversations from another model.

Auto-generation

When auto-generation is enabled:
  • a first summary can be created when the chat opens;
  • later summaries are created only after the configured number of new messages;
  • opening an unchanged chat does not repeatedly generate the same summary;
  • you still need Generate chat summary permission.
After a result exists, use its refresh action to update it manually. If you change the message count, length, or prompt, generate again to apply the new settings.

Language and translation

Summaries are generated in English. To translate them:
  1. Open the chat’s Translation settings and choose Translate chat to.
  2. Enable Translate AI chat recap there, or enable Translate summary in Chat Summary settings.
Both controls affect the same summary translation setting.
A summary is AI-generated and can omit a promise, payment detail, date, negation, or change of tone. Verify important details in the original conversation and payment history before replying, sending PPV, or making a commitment.

Permissions

Permissions are assigned independently of job title. If you can read a summary but cannot refresh it, ask the Owner or someone who can manage roles and creator access to check Generate chat summary for the selected model.

Troubleshooting

  • The section is missing — Check View chat summary access for the selected model and make sure Insights is open.
  • Auto-generation did not run — Check that it is enabled, the new-message threshold was reached, and you have generation access.
  • The summary did not change after settings changed — Use the summary’s refresh action.
  • The translation is missing — Enable the summary-specific translation toggle and confirm the Translate chat to language.
  • The summary is inaccurate — Increase Messages to analyze, verify the source chat, and regenerate.
