# Proxies

> How AgencyKey connects to OnlyFans and how to route specific accounts through your own proxies

AgencyKey has three routing layers for reaching OnlyFans. Most users should keep **Regular connection** unless OnlyFans does not open or the agency requires a specific proxy.

## Where to find it

Open **Network Settings** from the gear icon in the desktop app to manage Connection Servers or an Application Proxy. Open **Proxies** in the sidebar to manage Custom Proxies for individual creators.

## What you can do

* Test **Regular connection** and the available AgencyKey servers, then save the route you want to use
* Route app traffic through your own Application Proxy when no healthy per-creator proxy is active
* Add Custom Proxies and assign them to specific creators

## The three concepts

  For a creator window, AgencyKey prefers a healthy **Custom Proxy**, then an enabled and healthy **Application Proxy**, then the selected AgencyKey server, and finally the regular connection. If a route fails, the app can fall back to the next healthy route.

## Connection Servers (built-in)

AgencyKey ships with ready-to-use connection servers. The app tests the regular route and available AgencyKey servers so Network Settings can show which ones respond and how fast they are.

* **Regular connection** is the default when no AgencyKey server is selected
* Choosing **Connect via AgencyKey servers** saves the selected server for later launches
* Startup checks do not replace your saved server merely because another tested faster
* If the selected server stops working, AgencyKey can rotate or fall back to another healthy route
* A green status means OnlyFans was reachable during the latest test
* Managed from **Network Settings** (gear icon in the top-right corner, desktop app only)

## Application Proxy (advanced)

If you have your own proxy, open **Advanced settings** and enable **Your own proxy**. It replaces the Regular / AgencyKey connection choice for app traffic, but a healthy Custom Proxy assigned to a creator still has higher priority for that creator.

## Custom Proxy (per creator)

Assign a specific proxy to a creator when that creator needs a dedicated IP. A creator without a healthy assigned proxy follows the remaining routing order: Application Proxy, selected AgencyKey server, then Regular connection.

## Quick start

* **Everything just works?** Keep **Regular connection**.
* **OnlyFans not loading on login?** Click the gear icon on the login screen or the inline **network settings** link in the error banner.
* **Need a specific IP for a creator?** Go to the Proxies page in the sidebar and set up a Custom Proxy.

## Access and availability

Network Settings and Application Proxy are available only in the desktop app. Testing a Custom Proxy also requires the desktop app. Managing proxy records and assigning them to creators are separate role permissions, so one action can be available without the other.
