# Application Proxy & Network Settings

> Test and choose the OnlyFans connection used by the desktop app

Use **Network Settings** to test the regular route and AgencyKey servers, save the connection you want, or configure your own app-wide proxy.

<Note>
  Network Settings is available in the desktop app only.
</Note>

## How connection selection works

AgencyKey tests the available routes to report their current status and response speed. The test can include:

* **Regular connection** — your normal network path, including applicable system settings
* available **AgencyKey servers**

The check does not replace a saved AgencyKey server merely because another server tested faster. **Regular connection** remains selected until you choose **Connect via AgencyKey servers**; a selected AgencyKey server is remembered for later launches. If the active route becomes unhealthy, AgencyKey can rotate or fall back to another healthy route.

<Tip>
  Keep **Regular connection** when OnlyFans opens and chats work. Select an AgencyKey server only when the regular route is restricted or Support asks you to test one.
</Tip>

## Opening Network Settings

Two ways to open the dialog:

1. Click the **gear icon** in the top-right corner → **Network Settings**
2. On the login screen, click the gear icon and open **Network Settings**

If login fails because of a network issue, the error banner links directly to **network settings**.

## The Network Settings dialog

The dialog has the main **OnlyFans connection** section and an **Advanced settings** section.

### OnlyFans connection

| Element                           | Meaning                                                                  |
| --------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| **Regular connection** | Use your normal network route. Keep this when OnlyFans and chats work. |
| **Connect via AgencyKey servers** | Use a selected AgencyKey server when the regular route is restricted. |
| **Check** | Re-test the regular route and all currently available AgencyKey servers. |
| Status and response speed | Shows the result of the latest check, not a permanent guarantee. |

When **Connect via AgencyKey servers** is selected, choose one server from the list. AgencyKey saves that choice. The number and labels of available servers can change between releases.

### Your own proxy

Open **Advanced settings** for the optional app-wide proxy.

* Turn on **Your own proxy**
* Fill in type (SOCKS5 / HTTP / HTTPS), host, port, and credentials
* Click **Test** — save becomes available only after a successful test

<Warning>
  Your own proxy replaces the Regular / AgencyKey connection choice. A healthy Custom Proxy assigned to a creator still has higher priority for that creator. Only enable this setting when you have working proxy details.
</Warning>

## Routing order for creator windows

For an OnlyFans creator window, the effective order is:

1. A healthy Custom Proxy assigned to that creator
2. **Your own proxy** from Network Settings
3. The selected AgencyKey server
4. **Regular connection**

If a higher-priority route is missing or unhealthy, AgencyKey can use the next healthy route. Recheck the active creator and connection after a fallback because changing IP may trigger another OnlyFans verification.

## Network Logs

The **Network Logs** menu records connection tests and switches. Use it when troubleshooting an unreliable connection.

## Troubleshooting

### Login fails with "Unable to connect to server"

1. Click the **network settings** link in the error banner
2. Click **Check** and review **Regular connection** and the AgencyKey servers
3. If every result fails, check your internet and any external VPN
4. If only Regular connection fails, select **Connect via AgencyKey servers** and choose a working server

### A server was available, now it is not responding

Click **Check** again. AgencyKey may rotate or fall back when the active route fails, but the test itself does not silently replace a healthy saved selection.

### OnlyFans loads very slowly

Open Network Settings, click **Check**, compare response speeds, and select another working server if needed. A distant server can be slower even when it is available.
