# Keyboard Shortcuts

> Speed up your workflow with keyboard shortcuts

Keyboard shortcuts are configured in the **AgencyKey desktop app**. Open **Settings → Keyboard Shortcuts** to see the bindings currently active on your computer.

## Change a shortcut

1. Click the binding you want to change.
2. Press the new key combination. If another action already uses it, AgencyKey asks whether to reassign it.
3. Repeat for any other actions, then click **Save**.

Edits remain pending until you click **Save**. Use **Discard** to abandon the current edits, the reset icon beside an action to restore its default, or **Reset All** to restore every default. Fixed system shortcuts are shown for reference but cannot be edited.

  Shortcut changes are saved for the desktop application and apply across its account windows. They are not CRM account preferences that follow you to another computer.

<Tip>
  If a shortcut does nothing, make sure the correct AgencyKey window and context are active. Chat shortcuts work while you are in a chat; navigation shortcuts act on the current creator or account window.
