A job title, a role, and a data scope answer different questions and should not be used as if they were interchangeable. ## Workspace and access | Term | Standard meaning | Keep it distinct from | | -------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | | **Agency** | One AgencyKey workspace for a business and its team, connected creators, settings, and billing. | An OnlyFans creator account. One agency can manage multiple creators. | | **Owner** | The protected system role created with the agency. There is one Owner, with full access and Owner-only control over Admins and agency deletion. | **Admin**. Owner cannot be assigned as an employee role. | | **Admin** | An assignable system role with full operational access, except actions reserved for the Owner. | **Owner** or a custom manager role. | | **Manager** | A common job title. It is not a protected system role with one guaranteed permission set. A manager's access comes from assigned roles, group, creator assignments, and scopes. | **Admin**. Do not assume a manager has full agency access. | | **Chatter** | An employee whose work centers on fan conversations. AgencyKey includes a starter role named **Chatter**, but the agency can review and adapt its access. | A fixed permission level. Different chatters can have different roles and creator access. | | **Employee / Team member** | A person invited to the agency with their own AgencyKey login. They can have one or more roles, one group, and creator assignments. | A role. “Employee” describes membership in the team, not what the person may do. | | **Role** | A named set of feature and action permissions. Employees can have multiple roles, and their allowed permissions combine. | **Group** or **scope**. | | **Group** | An employee's place in the agency's team hierarchy. Each employee belongs to one group. | A permission bundle. Groups affect visibility only where a permission uses the group-based scope. | | **Scope** | The amount of data a permission can reach: **All Data**, **Group & Subgroups**, or **Own Data Only**. | Page/action permission or creator assignment. All may matter at the same time. | Read [Roles](/docs/roles/index), [Permissions & Scope](/docs/roles/permissions), and [Team Assignments](/docs/team-members/assignments). ## People and accounts | Term | Standard meaning | Keep it distinct from | | -------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | | **Creator** | The OnlyFans account/person the agency connects and manages across Accounts, assignments, billing, and analytics. | A fan who happens to also have a creator account. | | **Model** | The working identity for a connected creator in selectors, the sidebar, and chats. The **Model** name is an editable CRM label; the selected model determines which OnlyFans session you act as. | **OF Username**. Editing the Model label does not rename the OnlyFans username. | | **Fan** | An OnlyFans user in a creator's chats, lists, and analytics, whether their subscription is active, expiring, or expired. | **Subscriber**. Not every fan is currently subscribed. | | **Subscriber** | A fan described in relation to a subscription or subscription event. Check the status before assuming access is active. | A general fan record or a PPV buyer. | Read [Accounts](/docs/accounts/index) and [Chats](/docs/of-manager-chats/index). ## Lists, messages, and media | Term | Standard meaning | Keep it distinct from | | -------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ | | **OF List** | A native OnlyFans list synchronized into AgencyKey. Manage its membership as an OnlyFans list. | **Smart List**, which is defined by AgencyKey rules. | | **Smart List** | A dynamic AgencyKey segment whose membership is recalculated from spend, chat, or subscription rules. It can optionally maintain a mirror on OnlyFans. | A manually maintained OF List. Change Smart List rules instead of treating membership as a manual tag. | | **Script** | A reusable message template. It can contain text, media, personalization, and a PPV price. | A **Flow**, which guides several Scripts in sequence. | | **Flow** | An ordered, guided conversation sequence built from Scripts, with optional conditional branches. | One message or an automatic campaign. The operator reviews and advances its steps in chat. | | **Vault** | The selected creator's OnlyFans media library shown through AgencyKey, with tools for finding and reusing media. | Scripts or local draft storage. Each creator has a separate Vault. | | **PPV** | Pay-per-view content: a priced message or media item that the fan pays to unlock. | A subscription or tip. Its defining purpose is campaign measurement. | **Trial Link**, whose defining purpose is granting a free trial. | | **Trial Link** | A free-trial OnlyFans promotion with a duration and optional fan or expiry limits, managed separately under **Analytics → Trial Links**. | A regular campaign Tracking Link. The two tools have separate pages and access. | | **AI Recon** | An AI-generated fan briefing built from eligible shared conversations and activity within the selected sharing level. Verify important details in the original chat before acting on them. | **Platform Stats**. AI Recon is a narrative briefing, not a set of aggregate metrics. | | **Platform Stats** | Shared fan statistics and signals, such as cross-model spending or PPV patterns, shown when the selected creator's sharing level and your access allow it. | **AI Recon** or the selected creator's own **Chat Stats**.
