# Auto-Follow

> Gradually follow expired subscribers when following them is free

Open **Automation → Auto-Follow** to manage Auto-Follow for the creators available to your role. After you enable a creator, AgencyKey gradually works through existing expired subscribers and then continues as more subscriptions expire.

Before each action, AgencyKey checks that following the fan is free. Auto-Follow skips fans who are already followed, resubscribed, blocked or restricted, unavailable, creator accounts themselves, or otherwise ineligible. It does not automatically unfollow anyone later.

<Note>
  Auto-Follow is gradual. Enabling it does not promise an immediate follow, and a temporarily unavailable creator connection can pause new actions.
</Note>

## Enable or disable Auto-Follow

The table shows each creator's current state, last check, successful Auto-Follows for the last 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days, and all time, plus a link to History.

Use the switch in a creator row to enable or disable Auto-Follow. You can also select creators on the current page or all matching filtered creators, then choose **Enable** or **Disable**. One bulk operation can include up to 1,000 creators.

Disabling Auto-Follow stops new actions for that creator. It does not remove follows that already completed.

## States and filters

Search by creator name or filter the table by **Enabled** and **Off**. A creator row can also show:

* **Model connection unavailable** — AgencyKey cannot currently perform a new action for that creator;
* **Paused until…** — processing will resume after the displayed time;
* **State unconfirmed** — the last change could not be confirmed. Refresh the table before trying again.

## Review History

Open **History** for a creator to filter Auto-Follow actions by date and review their result. The summary shows successful Auto-Follows, fans who subscribed or renewed within 30 days, and the related 30-day net revenue when available.

History explains completed, skipped, failed, pending, and unconfirmed results. Common skips include a renewed subscription, an existing follow, a blocked or restricted fan, an unavailable account, or a follow that is not free. In AgencyKey Desktop, users who can view chats can also open the fan's conversation from the history row.

## Access

Auto-Follow uses two permissions under **Automation → Auto-Follow**:

| Permission       | What it unlocks                                                                                     |
| ---------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **View section** | Open Auto-Follow, view settings, statistics, and fan history for creators in the allowed data scope |
| **Edit** | Enable or disable Auto-Follow individually or in bulk; requires View section |

If the section or a creator is missing, ask the agency Owner or role administrator to check both the permission and its creator scope.
