# Reauthorization

> How to restore disconnected OnlyFans account connections

When an account shows **Disconnected** status, you need to reauthorize it to restore the connection.

## Why accounts disconnect

| Reason                  | Explanation                                                     |
| ----------------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Session expired**     | OnlyFans sessions don't last forever                            |
| **Password changed**    | A password change may invalidate an existing session            |
| **Login elsewhere**     | Logging in from another device may invalidate existing sessions |
| **Security measures**   | OnlyFans may disconnect sessions it considers suspicious        |
| **2FA or verification** | OnlyFans may require a new security check                       |

## How to reauthorize

### 1. Start the process

Go to **Accounts** and click **Add Creator** (same as adding a new account).

### 2. Choose the login proxy

Use the AgencyKey-managed login proxy or an available custom proxy, depending on your permissions. This login choice does not have to replace the creator's saved proxy assignment.

### 3. Log in again

Log in to OnlyFans and complete any email, SMS, or 2FA challenge shown in the login window. A row marked **2FA Required** needs this additional verification.

### 4. Confirmation

After successful login:

* You'll see "Session updated" notification
* Account status changes from **Disconnected** to **Connected**
* All your settings (name, proxy, team members) stay the same

## What gets updated

Only the authentication is refreshed — everything else stays as it was.

## Troubleshooting

### Account keeps disconnecting

If an account frequently loses connection:

1. **Check for other logins** — Is someone else logging into this OnlyFans account?
2. **Use a stable proxy** — Frequent IP changes can trigger disconnections
3. **Check 2FA settings** — Recently enabled 2FA requires reauthorization
4. **Consider a residential proxy** — Some proxies are more stable than others

### Can't log in

If you can't complete the login:

1. Verify the OnlyFans credentials are correct
2. Check if OnlyFans requires additional verification (email, SMS)
3. Try another available login proxy to rule out proxy issues
