# Editing Accounts

> How to customize account settings in AgencyKey

You can customize account settings directly from the accounts table.

Available controls depend on separate role permissions. Seeing the creator does not automatically allow editing the name, note, proxy, sharing, or deletion.

## Editing the model name

The model name is your internal identifier — it appears throughout AgencyKey but doesn't affect the OnlyFans profile.

### Why change it?

* Use project codes or internal naming conventions
* Identify accounts quickly in the sidebar
* Keep your internal naming separate from public names

### How to edit

1. Find the account in the table
2. Click on the name in the **Model** column
3. Enter the new name (up to 15 characters)
4. Click **Save**

The pencil icon appears when you hover, indicating the field is editable.

## Editing the internal note

Use the **Note** column for internal context about the creator. The note can contain up to 500 characters and is visible only to CRM users who can access that account and column.

## Assigning a proxy

Proxies route OnlyFans traffic through specific IP addresses.

### When to use a proxy

* Managing multiple accounts from one location
* Maintaining consistent geographic presence
* Meeting platform requirements

### Connection options

| Option | Description |
| ---------- | --------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Direct** | No per-creator Custom Proxy; follows the app-wide routing order |
| **Proxy** | Routes through a selected proxy server |

### How to change

1. Find the account in the table
2. Click on the **Proxy** column
3. Choose your connection type:
   * Select **Direct Connection** to remove the per-creator Custom Proxy and return to the app-wide routing order
   * Select **Use Proxy** and pick from the dropdown
4. Click **Save**

### Proxy status

When selecting a proxy, you'll see its current status:

| Indicator | Meaning |
| ---------- | -------------- |
| **Green** | Working |
| **Red** | Not responding |
| **Yellow** | Checking... |
| **Gray** | Not tested |

The dropdown also shows how many accounts are using each proxy.

## Who can edit

If you don't see the edit icons when hovering, you don't have permission for that action. Ask your admin to grant access if needed.
