# Account Switching

> Switch between multiple CRM accounts in the desktop application

AgencyKey lets you stay signed in to several CRM accounts and open each agency in its own window. Account switching is available only in the desktop app.

## Multiple accounts (desktop only)

Install and open the AgencyKey desktop app first. In a browser, sign out and sign in normally instead of using this workflow.

### Adding a new account

1. Click on your avatar in the top-right corner
2. Click **Add Account** at the bottom of the menu
3. Log in with your credentials in the new window
4. The new account will appear in your account list

### Switching accounts

When you have multiple accounts, the profile menu shows all your logged-in accounts:

* The current account is highlighted with a checkmark
* Click on any other account to switch to it
* Each account opens in a separate window with its own session

### Keyboard shortcuts

Use keyboard shortcuts for quick account switching:

| Shortcut     | Action              |
| ------------ | ------------------- |
| Cmd/Ctrl + 1 | Switch to account 1 |
| Cmd/Ctrl + 2 | Switch to account 2 |
| Cmd/Ctrl + 3 | Switch to account 3 |
| ...          | ...                 |
| Cmd/Ctrl + 9 | Switch to account 9 |

Shortcuts work for the first 9 accounts in your list.

## Isolated sessions

Each AgencyKey account works in its own window and keeps a separate signed-in session:

* Each window shows only the selected agency and the data available to that account
* Signing out in one window does not sign out the other accounts
* Actions in one account don't affect others
* You can work with different teams or agencies simultaneously

Before an important action, check the agency name and profile in the current window so you do not update the wrong workspace.

## Account switcher on login page

When you have multiple accounts in the desktop app, the login page displays your account list in the top-right corner. You can click on any account to open its window directly, without going through the profile menu first.

## Window restoration on restart

The desktop app remembers which account windows were open when you quit. On the next launch, it automatically reopens only those account windows, restoring your previous workspace.

## Signing out

To sign out from the current account:

1. Click on your avatar in the top-right corner
2. Click **Sign Out**
3. You will be redirected to the login page

In the desktop app with multiple accounts, signing out only affects the current account window. Other account windows remain active.
